Dermatology, for me, has always been about more than skin — it's about the person in front of me.

I'm excited to share that I have joined Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, a move that reflects both my passion for complex dermatologic care and my commitment to serving patients who need it most. Cancer patients face unique and often overlooked skin challenges — from the effects of radiation and surgery to impaired wound healing — and I look forward to being part of a team dedicated to addressing their care at every level.

My training spans two continents: I earned my medical degree and completed a dermatology residency and surgical fellowship in São Paulo, Brazil, before pursuing additional residency and research training at the University of Miami. That journey gave me a deep clinical foundation and a genuine appreciation for the diversity of patients I'm privileged to care for.

For many of my patients, getting the right diagnosis has been a long road. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than providing clarity, a clear path forward, and the kind of care that makes people feel truly seen and hopeful.

La dermatología, para mí, siempre ha sido algo más que la piel — se trata de la persona que tengo frente a mí.

Me complace anunciar que me he unido al Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, un paso que refleja tanto mi pasión por el cuidado dermatológico complejo como mi compromiso de servir a quienes más lo necesitan. Los pacientes con cáncer enfrentan desafíos cutáneos únicos y frecuentemente subestimados — desde los efectos de la radiación y la cirugía hasta la cicatrización deficiente — y estoy emocionada de formar parte de un equipo dedicado a atender su cuidado en todos los niveles.

Mi formación abarca dos continentes: obtuve mi título médico y completé mi residencia en dermatología y fellowship en cirugía dermatológica en São Paulo, Brasil, antes de continuar con mi residencia clínica avanzada e investigación en la Universidad de Miami. Ese camino me brindó una sólida base clínica y un profundo aprecio por la diversidad de pacientes a quienes tengo el privilegio de atender.

Para muchos de mis pacientes, llegar al diagnóstico correcto ha sido un camino largo. Nada me da más satisfacción que ofrecer claridad, un rumbo definido y el tipo de atención que hace que las personas se sientan verdaderamente escuchadas y con esperanza.
